Our customer, an exciting international maritime company, are increasing their capacity due to additional work scope and increasing portfolio there is a need to increase capacity with a Drilling/SPS Engineer in order to secure project execution and deliveries.

DRILLING/SPS ENGINEER WITH MIN 5 YEARS RELEVANT WORKING EXPERIENCE

Start: asap
End: 31.12.23 with possibilities for extension

Key Tasks:
The position will be a part of the SPS team and responsible for the activities with the drilling equipment at allocated rigs

Qualifications:
Technical, Bachelor or Master degree within engineering (or equivalent)
Relevant experience (min. 5 years) can compensate for lack of formal education.
Additional craft certificate or engineering competence is an advantage

Job description / work tasks – Drilling equipment integrity engineer:
SPS/AOC/SUT tasks
Discipline and field engineering
Supplier follow up
Field hook up engineering
Work packages
Red-markup documentation, final documentation
Onshore/Offshore survey, installation follow up and Yard stay may be required
Project execution
Coordination and cooperation with rig crew and ongoing installation work
Report costs, progress and deviation to project management

Experience/Knowledge
Experience with manufacture, inspection, repair and certification of drilling equipment.
Good knowledge about the criteria’s established in DNV regulations
SPS/AOC/SUT and reactivating of Drilling Equipment
Knowledge about NOV/HMH drilling packages
Project work in multidiscipline teams
System Operation manuals, testing and operational procedures
General understanding of Petroleum industry standards, rules, and regulations such as Norsok, DNV and API.
Onshore/Offshore surveys and participation in system and equipment testing
Checking and approval of documents

IT
Good general IT knowlegde

Location:
Bergen / Yard stay

Language:
Norwegian and English

Certificate
Preferable valid offshore certificate for NCS
